Upgrade of Schneider ATV61 to Danfoss FC202 Aqua Drive

It was great to be onboard Mowi’s Inter Caledonia Fish Carrier.

We provided the supply and installation of a 315Kw Danfoss FC 202 AQUA Drive.

The new drive replaced an obsolete Schneider Electric Altivar 61.

This job was carried out on board, during the routine crew changeover.

So, no time was lost on production for the vessel.

As space in the plant room was very limited.

We had to plan the removal and installation.

Steven and Eamon used a hydraulic trolly lift with block and tackle to safely carry out the work.

This project was carried out in conjunction with Mowi & TDC Aberdeen.
